The Lord’s Appointed Times
In Leviticus 23 God does not call these days "the feasts of Israel" but "the feasts of the LORD." They are His appointments — sacred rehearsals He scheduled so His people would meet with Him at set times throughout the year.
These are the appointed feasts of the LORD, the holy convocations, which you shall proclaim at the time appointed for them.
The Spring Feasts and the First Coming
Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits were all fulfilled in the death and resurrection of Yeshua. He died as the Passover lamb, was buried as the sinless bread, and rose as the firstfruits of those who sleep. Fifty days later, Shavuot was marked by the outpouring of the Spirit.

The Fall Feasts and the Hope to Come
Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles remain as a prophetic picture of what is still ahead — the gathering of God’s people, the final atonement, and the day God will tabernacle among us forever.
Why They Still Matter
To learn the feasts is to learn the gospel in pictures. They teach us to see time itself as sacred, and to recognize the unbroken story that runs from Sinai to the cross to the world to come.
Conclusion
The feasts of the Lord are signposts planted across the year, each one pointing to Yeshua. As we keep them, we walk through the gospel again and again, our hearts tuned to the rhythm of redemption.
